Patrick McDonnell, creator of ‘Side Effects: Paintings by Patrick McDonnell 2016-2021’ is an extremely prolific artist- with the focus of his career being on the cartoon MUTTS. Over the past five years, he has expanded on this cartoon background to create abstract expressionist pieces adorned with classic comic characters. This collection consists of over 50 large canvases that have never been shown to the public before.
