Nancy is a Community Engagement Intern at UAS and a fourth-year student at The Ohio State University. Using the lens of design, they hope to connect all forms of art with the community by creating engaging exhibits and using other forms of visual storytelling.
They are primarily interested in the visual arts and can often be found sketching new ideas. Drawing is one of the most accessible forms of creativity and is incredibly versatile, allowing the artist to get loose and abstract using any medium. Other than art, Nancy enjoys reading, listening to music, and staying in.
They’re most passionate about using media to connect with broader communities. With both empathy and creativity, art can be a great tool of social influences. People all see things differently, and it’s interesting to see how everything interacts.
These days, Nancy’s core philosophy is taking everything one day at a time. The present will piece together your future, so you might as well enjoy the moment to the fullest. The time will pass anyway.
