Yaqi is an accessibility intern at UAS and has enjoyed the opportunities and flexibility that the gallery and this position has to offer. Yaqi is passionate about the field of disability studies and hopes to pursue a career related to this field. 
 
Yaqi enjoys listening to music as an escape. She listens to various genres, including pop, indie, R&B, and classical. Music has the ability to bring people from all different backgrounds together, and allows them to connect on a deeper level. In her free time, Yaqi enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
 
Yaqi believes in letting things happen when they happen. Yaqi tries to live in the moment as much as possible and not worry too much about controlling the future.
